Contemporary Digital Media Topic of Choice

The topic that I’m choosing to explore as it piques my interest is “Wearables: All You Need to Know in 2023” from Mutual Mobile. As an Apple watch owner, I love getting insights of different devices that are currently being introduced to consumers. Time continues to move at a rapid speed and in our fast paced lives, wearable technology supports our lifestyle by monitoring our daily life without slowing down. Wearable Technology will offer a vast pool of resources for me to draw from as they have credible sources stemming from data security, behavioral studies, medical research and peer-reviewed scholarly analysis. Industry leaders like Apple, Samsung, Ray-Ban, and Google just to name a few have a plethora of high quality devices that are dominating the market. By exploring these companies, they will be able to guide my academic research and support my annotated bibliography and webpage. 

This topic will be highly interesting as my goal is to connect my passion for technology devices with my professional brand as a communication specialist. I tend to thrive in digital spaces where technology is involved as it helps with my innovation by impacting my daily life. As I dive into researching this article, I’m hoping to understand more of human behavior with intersecting technology and how it shapes our everyday lives. The world of technology is inevitable as they are creating smart watches, reality glasses, Oura rings and smart clothing. This is just the beginning into reading our bodies to see how we react on a daily basis whether its medical issues, athleticism, stress levels, water intake etc. This will help to position me with an understanding of digital trends to advance my knowledge into engaging and accessible content that will resonate with future clients. 

Creating a webpage on this topic will showcase how aligned the future of technology will continue to reshape human digital interaction. I’m eager to explore this topic in greater depth as I believe that I will be able to lay meaningful and comprehensive groundwork on all three projects.
